The Ministry of Tourism gave 279 establishments the "Q" Quality Tourism seal with which companies gain prestige, reliability, trust and promotion.

These establishments have successfully passed strict audits to ensure their service delivery proves quality assurance, safety and professionalism; all this to ensure customers the best travel experience as part of the joint work between the public and private sector, aiming to turn Ecuador into a Tourism Power.

The companies already display on their premises the plate with the "Q" seal received in April. This seal demonstrates the recognition of the Ministry to members of the industry who make their establishments more attractive for tourists. Additionally, it is also an incentive for tourist service providers to continue providing quality care. Thus, these providers become the first actors to articulate to the Tourism Quality National System (SNCT - Spanish acronym).

This recognition is valid for one year and the companies wishing to renew or join this recognized group must embrace venture and maintain their current certificate status, verified and registered within the Quality Tourism Programs that exist at present in the country.
