Puerto López

Pacific Coast

Puerto López is a very attractive point on the route of Spondylus, and the start of the coasts of Manabí.One undisputed point for visiting in Ecuador.

It is located in a broad cove, which borders with Punta el Chucon (el Chucon Headland) in the North and with Punta Mirador (Mirador Headland) in the south. The biggest population density and physical infrastructure services, commerce and housing, are located in the flat sector in the beach, between the mouth of the rivers El Pital and estero Seco (Dry Cove).

Useful Data

The active zone measures around 50 meters, the passive zone measures around 70 meters, and the equipment zone is where the population develops.
