Baños de Agua Santa
Baños de Agua Santa is a small town that rises between the central Andes and the Amazon of Ecuador, eight kilometers from the crater of the Tungurahua volcano and 30 minutes from Ambato.
Baños according to historical data, had no founder or any foundation date. When the Spaniards first came to this site, they called it IPO in the Puruhá language, which is why it is considered to have originated in the Puruháes villages.
