Napo’s Hot Springs
In the Ecuadorian Amazon there’s a large number of hot springs, including the hot springs of Papallacta, Pampa Llacta, Jamanco and Oyacachi. Between mountains, Andean moors and fantasy landscapes you will enjoy the water that flows from the bowels of the Earth. In addition, you can practice many activities such as horseback riding and hiking; And of course a delicious cuisine.
Imbabura’s Hot Springs
The Andes has a bunch of places for relaxation and well-being set right among natural wild places. In the Imbabura province area, the hot springs of Chachimbiro stand out, a thermo-mineral space in which water is filtered through fractured rock spaces or geological faults that result on a filtered hot water which, it’s been said, has many healing properties. The one responsible for heating the waters is the Chachimbiro volcano itself. The temperature of these life sources is between 86 and 131 °F. There are other sites too like Tumbabiro, Santagua, Fuente de vida, Aguasavia, Timbuyacu, Nungalví and others.
Tungurahua’s Hot Springs
Guarded by the Tungurahua volcano, rises the largest thermal complex in the country. The hot waters of this spring originate from the Tungurahua volcano itself, and its healing properties have given it a high level reputation. Complete families and friends come to this area to forget urban chaos and reach a space of relaxation at another level. Las Termas del Salado, La Virgen, Santa Ana, Cunuyacu and Las Modernas Complex are the main sites to visit.
Azuay’s Hot Springs
Also, in the southern Ecuador there are other thermal complexes with water that emerges from the Loma de los Hervideros, in this area you can enjoy the hottest springs with the highest temperatures in the country. Pichincha’s Hot Springs
