The renowned TV host, Jack Hanna is currently in Ecuador filming for the upcoming season of “Jack Hanna´s Into the Wild”. Along with his filming crew, arrived on November 4th and during the stay he is visiting different cities within Ecuador, with a special focus on the flora and fauna of each destination.


The locations chosen for filming are Galapagos National Park, Quito’s Zoo,Quito’s  Vivarium,ParqueCóndor, Centro Jambatu, Choco mountain range, Otavalo’s animal market  and the Amazon region. The crew is being hosted by members of the Ministry of Tourism, who will provide support during the 18 days of filming. Jack also took advantage of his visit to Ecuador to congratulate ABC’s Good Morning America for its 40th anniversary.  As one of the show’s longest-serving contributor, Jack chatted with GMA’s anchors live from the cloud forest of Ecuadorwhile sharing some of his most memorable moments at the show fromthe past 32 years.


Jack is one of the most recognized personalities in the world of animals and travel, thanks to his great knowledge of the flora and fauna of each of the destinations he visits. The production of his show “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild” began 10 years ago, and due to the high quality of its content, it has secured a number of Emmy awards. The program provides insight into the protection and conservation of the planet’s most precious and endangered species.
