The Ecuadorian Guayas School Vessel arrived in New York City on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 09:00 and it will hold an open exhibition to the public in the "INTREPID" Museum, located at Pier 86 (W 46th St . and 12th Ave, New York, NY 10036) until June 12.


The public that attend this exhibition will enjoy live Ecuadorian music, handicrafts exhibitions from different regions of the country, as well as receive promotional materials and souvenirs available on the ship's deck.


The ship sailed from Guayaquil on Tuesday May 12 and will return to the country in February 2016. At present, the ship has already visited the ports of Balboa - Panama; Colon – Panama and Havana - Cuba.


After staying in New York, the Guayas School Vessel will continue its journey to Belfast – United Kingdom; Alesund - Norway; Kristiansand - Norway; Aalborg - Denmark; Bremerhaven - Germany; Amsterdam - Netherlands; Lisbon - Portugal; Cartagena - Spain; Civitavecchia - Italy; Piero - Greece; Alexandria - Egypt; Jeddah - Saudi Arabia; Doha - Qatar; Cochin - India; Pelabuhan Klang - Malaysia; Jakarta - Indonesia; Perth - Australia; Sydney - Australia; Wellington - New Zealand; Valparaiso - Chile and Callao - Peru.
