Andes
In this region of Ecuador there are the beautiful cities World Heritage Quito and Cuenca. You will also be surprised by the Avenue of the Volcanoes and indigenous villages with colorful markets. The Crucero Train, which crosses the Callejón de los Andes and descends towards the Coast, transports you between badlands, mountains and historical communities.
The Andes in Ecuador are between heights ranging from 1,500 meters (4,921 feet) to 6,310 meters (20,701 feet) where the snows of the Chimborazo volcano invite you to feel the texture of the clouds.
In this region you can enjoy vast landscapes full of sowings of potatoes, beans, corn; as well as lakes, volcanic lagoons in turquoise tones and natural sources of thermal waters. Hundreds of species of orchids and birds are added to Inca ruins offering spectacular views that can be enjoyed from the comfort of a vehicle, on horseback, mountain bike and even from a zip line.
